| Introduction |
These records include the audio recordings of the Local Records Committee meetings from 2007 to Present. Gaps in the audio records may exist because of the occasional technical difficulties with the recording equipment. The complete set of minutes will serve to fill those gaps. Minutes are found under the title Local Records Committee, Minutes, 2000-present in the collection Minute Records. The Washington State Local Records Committee was established in 1957 by the authority of RCW 40.14.070. The Committee is composed of the State Archivist and one representative for each of the following state officials: State Auditor and the Attorney General. The Local Records Committee adopts procedures for records disposition, scheduling, and other matters relating to the retention, preservation, or destruction of public records of local government agencies. All records are in English. These records are open for research. |
