| Introduction |
These records include Resolutions 84-1 through 11-375 adopted by the Asotin County Public Utility District Board of Commissioners during meetings from 1984 through 2011. Resolutions are official or formal statements of determination, decision, or opinion passed by a council, commission, or board on matters before that body. The resolutions in this collection are indexed by date and by resolution number. In November of 1984, a public utility district was formed by the citizens of Asotin County. The PUD, which protested the cost of water service from Clarkston General Water Supply, was created with the intended purpose of acquiring ownership of the water system through condemnation. After two years of court proceedings, Public Utility District No. 1 of Asotin County began operation in April of 1987. All records are in English. These records are open for research.
