| Introduction |
These records include the Minutes of the Asotin County Public Utility District #1 Commissioners meetings from December 05, 1984 through December 27, 2011. Minutes are the official record of the proceedings of the City Council. Minutes may include date, council members present, summary of official reports from various departments, budget approvals and other city business. The records in this collection are indexed by date. In November of 1984, a public utility district was formed by the citizens of Asotin County. The PUD, which protested the cost of water service from Clarkston General Water Supply, was created with the intended purpose of acquiring ownership of the water system through condemnation. After two years of court proceedings, Public Utility District No. 1 of Asotin County began operation in April of 1987. All records are in English. These records are open for research.
