EXECUTIVE ORDER  76-01

EXECUTIVE ORDER RESCINDING EO 72-04

On April 14, 1972 Executive Order 72-04 was issued to require that all persons operating motor vehicles owned or operated by the State of Washington have a State Vehicle Driver Permit in their possession while operating state vehicles.

In the interest of cost savings efforts and as a result of our current sophistication in Driver's records, effective February 1, 1976, State Vehicle Driver Permits and State Vehicle Driver Identification cards will no longer be required.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Daniel J. Evans, Governor of the State of Washington, do by the virtue of the power vested in me, rescind paragraphs one (1) through nine (9), eleven (11) and twelve (12) of Executive Order 72-04.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the seal of the State of
Washington to be affixed at Olympia this
28th day of January A.D., Nineteen hundred and seventy-six.

Daniel J. Evans
Governor of Washington

BY THE GOVERNOR:

Secretary of State
