Croatian Cemetery #2 is located in Roslyn, WA, Kittitas County, Washington. To reach this cemetery travel west down Pennsylvania Ave through Roslyn, hang left until you come to Memorial Rd where you turn left. As you enter the cemetery area take the road between the two Veteran cemeteries almost straight ahead and left again at the Moose Cemetery, which is across the road from Croatian #2 Cemetery. Croatian Cemetery #2 is located at N47° 13' 10"N, Lon: 120° 59' 27"W, T20N R15E Sec 17. See map.

This cemetery came into being when Dr. Starcevic Cemetery #1 was completely filled with no more burial room. It is owned and maintained by Dr. Starcevic Lodge #56. For more on the lodge see Dr. Starcevic Lodge #56.

I acquired the information I have presented from my own readings and either the city hall or the cemetery sexton, which might include old records.

I used a digital camera to read this cemetery, so I have photos of most of the existing stones. Some I had to use my notepad, and some I could not read. Thanks to Tom Ninkovich, I was able to translate a few more of the headstones.

I walked and read this cemetery Aug 21, 2001. As with many of the cemeteries in Roslyn, I found headstones written in the native language of the person buried there. I did my best to decipher at least the name and dates. A few could not be deciphered from aging. Transcribed Oct 13, 2001, last edited Mar 22, 2010.
