Notes from transcriber Maggie Rail, October 2001:
I.O.O.F Cemetery lies on the south side of the lower road, between the Red Men Cemetery and the Slovak Cemetery. You reach it by coming through Roslyn on Pennsylvania Ave west, turn south onto Memorial Road and continue on the blacktop road until you spot it on your left. Lat: 47° 13' 10"N, Lon: 121° 00' 06"W T20N R15E Sec 17. See map.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows was organized in Roslyn in the late 1800's. It was originally founded to help it's members when misfortune hit them. One need they provided was a cemetery for burial when a member or one of their family died. I have found no active lodge at the present time in Roslyn to obtain any other information. The cemetery looks neglected.

The information I have presented comes from the reading of the headstones which was done when I visited the cemetery. I was also able to compare with an older reading which had numbered the burial places. These have been added. According to this record, there are some unmarked graves.

I surveyed this cemetery on Aug 19, 2001, using pencil and pad, plus my digital camera. Transcribed Oct 19, 2001, last edited Mar 22, 2010.
