Notes from transcriber Maggie Rail, August 2001:
Roslyn Memorial Gardens can be reached by driving west on Pennsylvania Ave to Memorial Rd where you turn left. Continue on the black top road to the intersection and take a left again. It is the last cemetery on this road and to the right, just past the New City Cemetery. Lat: 47° 13' 10"N, Lon: 121° 00' 00"W T20N R15E Sec 17. See map.

This is the third cemetery for the city of Roslyn, which was opened in 1977. First there was the Old City Cemetery. When there was no more space they acquired the land by the Veteran Cemetery. This also filled, creating the need for this one.

The information presented comes mainly from my reading of the headstones which was done when I visited the cemetery. I was able to compare my readings with the Sexton files. I have added the locations on those when it was available. On some markers, the one might have no death date. This usually means they are still alive, but I copy the whole stone to show the relationship.

I surveyed this cemetery on Aug 20, 2001, using pencil and pad, plus my digital camera.
