I was further able to compare these findings with the current Sexton files, from which I was able to add the location in the cemetery for most of the names. This cemetery is in excellent shape and well cared for.” “Edwall Cemetery is maintained by a Cemetery Board. I found more than one contact person. I first spoke with Terry Fox in Edwall WA at 509-236-2286, then later with M. James Kintachi at 509-236-2343, who sent me some of the records they had. Jim said the Edwall Community Cemetery started in 1891.” “The main funeral home for the area is Strate Funeral Home: 509-725-4151, although not the only one.” “After the first transcription, I again visited this cemetery on Jun 01, 2003 with my digital camera. Found new names and corrected some errors. Those with an asterisk * I do not have a photo of, which means I found no marker.” |
