Transcription Notes: “From Toroda Creek road turn onto Ski Rd, which is opposite of Davis Rd, then go 1 mile, turn left onto Teas Rd and continue for .3mi and again turn left. Kipling Cemetery is across this very unused road which runs is between farmland, at the end of the road on the hillside.” “This cemetery is really in abandoned condition. It became of little use as the people living here left the area, due to the inability to make a living. The town of Kipling is no more.” “I could have missed headstones, the growth was so dense. One would need to be there when all the vegetation is dead. The last burial I found was in 1986.” “After transcribing what I found, I compared my work with a reading done in 1979, found in the Okanogan County Cemetery Records, pub. 1991. Additions from that reading are followed by an * asterisk.” “I walked and read this cemetery on Jul 13, 2004.” |
