Continue for about a mile, turn right and stay on Kroll Canyon road for 1.2 mi., then another right down a lane to the cemetery, it will be just past the first cemetery which is the Norine Smith Family Cemetery.” “This cemetery is owned and maintained by the city of Nespelem. It is fenced in and protected, and seems to be very well maintained.” “When I revisited this cemetery in 2004 they had just installed a sprinkler system, then they had a water shortage and had to ration water, so it could not be used this summer as they had hoped.” “Walked this cemetery on Jul 18, 2002 and again in 2004, using a digital camera.” |
