Transcription Notes: “To reach the cemetery in Nespelem from Hwy 155, turn west to the fairgrounds and continue just past the community center. Take a left at the creek, then a quick left up the hill for about a half-mile. The cemetery is at the top of the hill enclosed in a tribal fence.” “I have visited this cemetery twice. There was no name on the cemetery so I have given it the name of the oldest or first burial with a stone. I received word that some call this the 'Little Bob Cemetery'. However they gave me no info as to who owns and maintains the cemetery. I presume it might be a family or allotment cemetery.” “It appears to still be burying but not too recent. I could not tell how many burial spots were without identification, nor could I fine more information on it.” “I visited this cemetery on Jul 24, 2003, using my digital camera.” |
