Index data was compiled by Maggie Rail, a member of the Washington State Cemetery Association who has transcribed over 400 cemeteries since 1993.

Transcribed by Maggie Rail, Jun 04, 2000, last edited Jan 22, 2007. Transcription Notes: “Seaton Grove cemetery is located a short distance north of Elmer City on South Front St along the Columbia River or 6 mi north of Grand Coulee Dam. It lies off to your left as you head toward the water just after the main office at Spirit Ridge Resort.” “This is a very sad and lonely site. It has perhaps 52 buried here. I did not locate any more names except for the one lone headstone. They are simply mounds of various sizes; some adults, some smaller children's graves. There is only the one identifying stone in this cemetery.” “When I phoned I was told the landowner is working very hard to discover who is buried here. It is fenced in and protected, but grown up in weeds except for the area around the lone headstone.” “I visited this site on May 22, 2000. I visited in 2004 and found a new burial, which appeared to be a child with no stone.” |
