Introduction |
The Spring Coulee Family (Clover) Cemetery index lists individuals interred at the Spring Coulee Family Cemetery in Okanogan County, Washington. See photos. Index information about an individual may include name, birth date, birth place, death date, and names of family members. Index data was compiled by Maggie Rail, a member of the Washington State Cemetery Association who has transcribed over 400 cemeteries since 1993.
Spring Coulee Family Cemetery is located at Lat: 48° 23' 24"N, Lon: 119° 37' 42", T33N, R25E Sec 1. There are 82 individuals listed in this index. This index is in English. This index is open for research. This cemetery was walked and recorded by Maggie Rail, May 21, 2000. Transcribed by Vicki Morris Jun 08, 2000 from my work. Transcription Notes: “To reach the cemetery from south Second Ave in Okanogan, turn right onto Conconully Hwy. Continue on Conconully to the first fork or Y, take the Salmon Creek Road. Proceed 3 1/2 miles to Spring Coulee Road and go left or south for about a mile to Dry Coulee and take a left. The cemetery is about 1/4 mile further on the left.” “This reading was compared with the book 'Okanogan County Washington Cemetery Records' pub. 1991, by OCGS, Omak, WA. Any listings with an asterisk were from this book, which means there most likely is no headstone.” “There were 12 Stone markers and one metal crib, with no identifying markings. It is said there are about 47 burials here without headstones. Thought to be buried in this cemetery (from personal reports and local newspaper obituaries) * Harris, Lula May, * Hurlbert, Anna Stanton, b. 1848, d. 1922 * Jay, Billie, * McLean, Charles, * McLean, Walter, baby *” |
