The cemetery is on the south side of the road.” “At this time it is owned and maintained by the Dusty Cemetery Association. All work is done by volunteers, which there seems to be many of. When I was there Robert Ackerman had just passed and there were several at the cemetery busily taking care of all of the preparations necessary before the burial.” “There was one stone in the center of the cemetery, where a good number of names were etched that had no visible stone and the location was lost. I have labeled these with UG for 'unknown gravesite.' Listings with an asterisk * are names I found in a previous reading by Jack Lines in 1971, which I found no stone for. I cannot vouch for their accuracy.” “A contact for this cemetery is David Stueckle, Greenspot Rd, Rte #1, LaCosse WA 99143, 509-549-3505.” “I visited and walked this cemetery using my digital camera on Jul 11, 2006. I have a photo of all existing and legible stones and markers at that time.” |
