The cemetery will be on your right.” “This is a private cemetery, owned by Charles L Pierce. It was originally owned by Ray Evans, who deeded it to Chas Pierce when he died. The cemetery started in 1922 by original owner, Mr. Evans. Owner and Contact: Chas L Pierce, Kettle Falls WA, 509-738-2098.” “Charles said it was in a rundown state for several years, but they have been working hard to restore it as it is possible. A difficult position when there are no funds to support the cemetery.” “I found it to be in fairly good shape. There are some markers very worn, as in all cemeteries. There was one mausoleum, which was difficult to read, but I peeked through the bars.” “I visited and walked this cemetery on Jul 13, 2003. I used a digital camera, but do not have a photo of those followed by an * asterisk.”
