Notes from transcriber Suzanne Livingstone, November 28, 2011: “To reach the Hobart-Maple Valley Cemetery, from the intersection of Highway 18 and the SE 256th St exit, head east on Highway 18 4.6 miles and take the 244th Ave SE exit. Turn right onto 244th Ave SE. Less than a quarter mile ahead take a left onto SE 208th St. Go down SE 208th St ½ mile to cemetery. Cemetery is on the right hand side of the road.” “Cemetery is in very good condition and well cared for. There is a road that goes into the cemetery and has a turn around. The earliest noted burial was 1894. The stones listed may not be all of them, only the ones that were visible and legible. ” “I walked and read the cemetery in August 2011.”
