Notes from transcriber Maggie Rail, Jan 29, 2000, last edited Feb 24, 2012:

“Pleasant Prairie Cemetery is located northeast of Spokane WA., about 1/2 mile east of the eastern branch of Bruce Rd. on the North side of Pleasant Prairie Rd., aka Morgan Rd.”

“This cemetery is owned and maintained by the Pleasant Prairie Cemetery Association, (509-926-4001) operating under a board. I found it to be in excellent condition, although not a perpetual care cemetery. The board would not allow me to compare my work with their records, so this only consists of the existing stones.”

“I first walked the cemetery in Sep of 1998, reading all existing and legible stones. I have returned a couple of times and rechecked the stones. There may be others buried here that I do not have listed, which have no stone.”

“In 2005 I was able to compare with an older set of records which were up to the year 2001. These records differed with what I had in some cases. This fact prompted me to once again return to the cemetery on Apr 06, 2005. This time I used my digital camera and have a photo of each existing stone.”
