Ferdinand Pagel donated three fourths of the land and Frederick Kienbaum donated one fourth. In later years Henry Treede Jr. donated an addition to the original part.” “Most of the early burials were of the Lutheran faith and of German or Danish descent. Even today many of the burials are descendants of these early families. The earliest birth listed is for Jan 05, 1797, earliest death is Nov 06, 1887.” “I have transcribed from the current cemetery files as provided to me by Charley Hahner, the Sexton.” “I again visited the cemetery Jun 20, 2004 and walked it, using my digital camera. I have digital photos of all existing headstones up to 2004. Listings followed by an asterisk * were records I found no stone for, so this means I have no photo for those or obtained from an obit.” |
