Agency History:	The town of Cathlamet is located in Wahkiakum County, situated on the Columbia River approximately 35 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Incorporated in 1907, the town adheres to a Mayor-Council form of government. Cathlamet is the Wahkiakum County seat and remains the only incorporated town in the county.
