Agency History: WSTIP was formed in 1989 pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act (RCW 39.34) and is governed by a board of directors consisting of representatives from each member agency. The agency serves to pool resources in providing insurance, legal services, and risk management to its member agencies.
