Agency History: | First settled in 1879, Vine Maple Valley, as it was once known, grew as a mining and lumber town. In the early 1960s, highway construction require many of the city's landmarks to be moved or demolished. The City of Maple Valley was incorporated in 1997 and is located in King County. |
