Agency History: In 2008, the Washington State Legislature established the Washington State Electronic Recording Standards Commission (ERSC). The commission, under the advisement of the Division of Archives and Records Management (Office of Secretary of State), advises the state's recording officers regarding the adoption of standards to implement the Uniform Real Property Electronic Recording Act.
