Description:	These records include the fetal deaths in the State of Washington. These records are considered birth records and often include both a birth record and a death record until 1945. Information may include county of birth, name of child, no name listed, sex, race, ethnicity, date of birth, father's name, mother's name, color, age, birthplace of parents, occupation of parents, doctor's signature and notes, cause of death, place of burial, cremation or removal, signature of undertaker, and name of facility where born/died. On January 1, 2021 RCW 70.58A.510 allows Fetal Death Records to be transferred from the custody of the Department of Health to the State Archives. The Department of Health will still provide certified copies RCW 70.58A.510 (7).
