This scrapbook was created by the Governor’s Mansion Foundation and includes materials created during the Daniel J. Evans and Dixy Lee Ray administrations between 1975 and 1981 to document the restoration, remodeling, and events at the Governor’s Mansion. There are 152 pages in this scrapbook. The cover measures 15.25 x 13 inches, and each page measures 13 x 10.75. Pages consist primarily of clippings, photographs, and invitations but also includes programs, pamphlets, and correspondence.

Notes The scrapbook can be browsed page by page. Pages are numbered as they fall in the scrapbook (ex: “p003” is page 3 of the scrapbook). Some pages include overlapping or folded items. Some items include multiple pages, such as brochures, booklets, and periodicals. Agency History: The Governor's Mansion Foundation is an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan organization that honors the historical and cultural significance of the Washington State Governor's Mansion by maintaining and enhancing the furnishings, art, and library collection in the public rooms of the Mansion, educating the public about the Mansion and its history, and advocating on its behalf. The Governor's Mansion Foundation was founded in 1968 by former first lady Nancy Evans.
