Agency History:	When a lumber mill was constructed overlooking the Puyallup Valley in the early 1890's, the surrounding settlement became known as "Mill Town" until the postal service changed the name to Milton. The City of Milton was incorporated in 1907 and is located in Pierce and King Counties.
