| Agency History: | The Regional Transportation Investment District (RTID) was created with the passage of ESSB 6140 by the State Legislature in 2002. Its Planning Committee and Executive Board were charged with developing a transportation plan for improving key highway corridors in Pierce, King and Snohomish Counties. The RTID coordinated its work with Sound Transit (a regional transit authority) to present voters with a combined Roads and Transit plan. |
