Introduction	This database contains the minutes of the Des Moines City Council for meetings from June 17, 1959 through August 2, 2007; ordinances adopted by the Des Moines City Council, from ordinance number 1 through number 1399 (1959-2007); and resolutions adopted by the Des Moines City Council, from resolution number 1 through number 1038 (1959-2007). Minutes are the official record of the proceedings of the city council.
