The names were taken from Catholic Church records, newspaper articles, marriage licenses, marriage record books, marriage registers, and marriage statistics books. Notes	The Stevens County Marriage Certificates were indexed and imaged by Washington State Archives, Eastern Regional Branch staff and Eastern Washington University student interns. The Marriage Record books, marriage registers, and marriage statistic books were indexed by the Northeast Washington Genealogical Society, Colville, Washington.
Agency History:	Stevens County government was organized in 1863 from Walla Walla County. The county seat is Colville.
