Introduction The Eagle Cliff Cemetery index lists individuals interred at Eagle Cliff Cemetery in Ferry County, Washington. Index information may include: name, birth date, birth place, death date, and names of family members. Dates on the markers range from 1907-1998. Index data was compiled by Maggie Rail, a member of the Washington State Cemetery Association who has transcribed over 400 cemeteries since 1993.

Notes from transcriber Maggie Rail (current as of 2009):

Eagle Cliff Cemetery is located at Lat 48° 56' 25", Lon 118° 47' 40"W, T40N R33E Sec 28. To reach the cemetery turn west off of Hwy #21 at Curlew, taking the Curlew to Toroda Hwy, which heads northwest. It is just a few miles and on the east side of the road. Just like it sounds, up on the hill overlooking the valley.

This appears to be the cemetery for the Toroda Creek area. The earliest burial may be 1907, however, there may be some earlier. I found evidence which led me to believe there could be many unmarked graves. The most recent burial I located is 1998.

I have compiled the following from my survey when I walked this cemetery Jul 19, 2001. I then tried to find missing names in previous works, but found no new entries. With as many unreadable markers as I saw, the great amount of empty space in the cemetery where it looked like there might be unmarked burials, and knowing the history of the area, it seems logical there are many names missing from this work.
