This database is an index to Orient Cemetery located in Ferry County, Washington. There are 52 names listed. Cemetery Location T39N R36E Sec 23 Lat: 48° 51' 30", Lon: 118° 12' 08"W Directions To reach the cemetery from Hwy 395, as you turn off of Hwy 395 and head into east into Orient, almost immediately take the first road on your right, after you make the turn. You will drive on the west side of and along the railroad tracks for about a mile to reach the cemetery, which is secluded in the woods. Transcription Notes This is a community cemetery where all take part in the upkeep. I could not find anyone who owned it. Yet I found them very proud of their cemetery. It is not that full of markers, except for around the perimeter of the cemetery. I found some in huge bushes, so it is quite possible I missed a few in some hidden place. There was a lot of high grass also. I visited and surveyed this cemetery on Jul 19, 2001. I used my digital camera, therefore any good photos I have I will be more than happy to share.
