This database is an index to the Wellpinit Presbyterian Cemetery located in the town of Wellpinit, Stevens County, Washington. There are 446 names listed. Location Wellpinit Presbyterian Cemetery is located in the town of Wellpinit beside the Presbyterian Church. Sec. 27 T28N R38E on the Spokane Indian Reservation. Transcription Notes In 1939 at least 14 graves were reburied here from the Edward Whalawhitsa Cemetery which is now under the Lake Roosevelt Reservoir. These graves are in a line near the east side of the cemetery. A name list of these graves has been placed at the end of this report. In addition to the above, 18 unidentified graves were moved from the Spokane Tribal Cemetery and 9 unidentified graves from the Geo. W. Thomas Cemetery are in a row adjoining the south fence line of the cemetery. Transcribed by Bud Engelhardt, Virginia Engelhardt, and Leona Holland 12 August 1999.
