Introduction	The Paradise Hill Cemetery (also known as the Brewster Cemetery) Index lists individuals interred at the Paradise Hill (Brewster) Cemetery in the town of Brewster, Okanogan County, Washington. Index information about an individual may include: name, birth date, birth place, death date, and names of family members. Dates on the markers range from 1905 to 2000. The index was compiled by Shirley Monroe Bennett in 1979, with additional information provided by Avilda Curtis. Updated information was compiled from the October, 2000 survey of the Cemetery by Bud and Virginia Engelhardt. There are 61 individuals listed in this index. Notes from Transcribers Shirley Monroe Bennet, Avilda Curtis and Bud and Virginia Engelhardt: The Paradise Hill (Brewster) Cemetery is located at Twp 31N, R24E Sec 16, NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 Section 16, off of Paradise Hill Road just north of the town of Brewster, Washington. Turn north off Highway 97 at Brewster on Paradise Hill Road. Proceed three miles to the Rat Lake Y. Take the left and continue on the Paradise Hill Road for two more miles where a very primitive road on the left is marked "Cemetery". It is approximately a mile to the Cemetery. This cemetery was walked by Shirley Monroe Bennett in 1979. Additional information was obtained from Avilda (Mrs. Wes) Curtis. On occasion data found on the headstone was different from the original report. This was corrected to read what is on the present headstones. In Oct 2000, cemetery was inventoried by Bud Engelhardt and assisted by two members of the Waggoner family who have family buried in this cemetery. Earliest burial located 1905 (Thomas Acord). Most recent burial is 2000 (Elsie Rawley). There have been 16 burials since the original report in 1979. This index is in English. This index is open to research.
