Introduction	This database is an index to the Lone Pine Cemetery located in Tekoa, Whitman County, Washington. There are 64 names listed. Location: Lat: 47° 13' 32"N, Lon: 117° 08' 56"W Section 21 T20N, R45E Traveling on Highway 27 from Latah toward Tekoa, go three miles, turn right onto Fairbanks Road, continue about one mile to Sievke Road and turn left. The cemetery is located about a half mile on the Sievke Road. Transcription Notes 1809 earliest birth date 1883 earliest death 1953 most recent burial At the time of this survey, (1999), the cemetery appears unmaintained. It is covered with overgrown lilacs and native brush and weeds. In addition, several headstones have been destroyed or tipped over. Also, there is evidence of badger and ground squirrel holes everywhere. A survey was done in September of 1999 by Virginia (Ottosen) Engelhardt and myself. It appears that the latest burial was in 1953. This list is the same as what was copied by Margie Robertson and Lorraine White in 1973. Additional names have been added from family. - Bud Engelhardt
