Transcription Notes This cemetery is referred to by local residence as the Old Keller Cemetery. The cemetery began when a Mr. Ottmar donated 1 acre of land to the Evangelical Church in Ruff about 1910 after losing their children at an early age. The Keller family also lost children a few years after that. The cemetery sits on a small hill, with farmland surrounding it. There is not a lot of care given to the burial sites, and I easily could have missed one of the markers. Some areas were very well maintained however. It gets care a couple times a year all by volunteer. If oftener the families maintain their sections. I read this cemetery on May 21, 2005, using my digital camera. This includes all existing stones and markers to that date. ~ Maggie Rail Abbreviations: c/o = child of b. = born d. = died d/o = daughter of h/o = husband of s/o = on of s/w = stone with w/o = wife of Transcription Notes According to a deed registered at Davenport, Washington ( Lincoln County), this cemetery was established on 3 May 1909.
