"Washington Park Survey / Seattle" -- handwritten in bottom center on recto. "Washington Park Arboretum / (126) Transit and Level party doing topographical work in Washington Park, site of the Washington Park Arboretum. The site, which borders the Lake Washington ship canal opposite the University of Washington, covers an area of 197.05 acres. All stumps and down timber on the grounds have been cleared and burned." -- typewritten on note attached to verso.
