"Housing Department / (59) Workmen employed in re-conditioning a house to be occupied by some relief family. On this particular job, the house was painted inside and out, re-papered and all woodwork varnished. From March 17, 1933, until March 29, 1935, in King county, the only area where fifures [sic] were announced 315 dwellings were constructed for families in desperated [sic] need of shelter." -- on typewritten note attached to verso. |
