Dis. # 2 / Project 17-D5-125 / Neg. No 540 Oct. 11 1934 / Mattresses for Shipping / 1630 15 Ave. W. Seattle." -- handwritten in lower right-hand corner on recto. "K.N." -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Mattress Manufacturing / (75) The Mattress Factory, in the main a hand operation, employed on an average of sixty relief clients. The mattresses turned out could not, it is stated, be bought on the open market for less than $12.00." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
