"K.N." -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Slide Prevention / (164) While slide prevention work was under way, WERA labor laid 4430 lineal feet of six inch vitrified clay drainage pipe; core-drilled approximately 1600 lineal feet and performed other arduous tasks incident to the operation. This view shows prevention work on 18th Avenue North and East Garfield Street." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
