"Tukwila Streets - Road Construction. / Spreading Gravel on Maule Ave. / K.N." -- handwritten in lower right-hand corner on recto. "Tukwila Streets / (109) While this project was in operation sixty-five large stumps were blasted, removed and burned, and the roadways constructed were graded, graveled and crowned. This picture shows crews at work on Maule Avenue engaged in spreading gravel." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
