"State of Wash ERA Dist #2 / Proj. 17-D5-125 / Neg# 565 11-6-34 / Mattress Factory - Tufting Room Seattle" -- handwritten in lower left-hand corner on recto. "K N" -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Mattress Factory / (36) Approximately 60 Relief Clients found practically continuous employment at the Mattress Factory, operated by WERA, which plant started operation in October, 1934. Mattresses which could not be duplicated for $12.00 each were produced at this operation. This view shows employees at work in the tufting room." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
