Notes: Image shows several large circular structures lined with low concrete walls in a sloping forested area. Construction workers are visible throughout the image. "State D. P. W. Dist #2 / Project 17-B16-81 / Neg. No. 799 - 6/18-35" -- handwritten in lower left-hand corner on recto. "Fish Ponds View Looking E. To Lake Wash. / Seward Park Seattle Wash." -- handwritten in center bottom on recto. "Rearing Ponds at Seward Park / (58) Six of the ten fish rearing ponds at the Seward Park development are shown in this view which was taken sometime before the ponds proper were completed. Aside from the construction herewith shown, this undertaking involved five acres of clearing, grubbing and grading, the construction of a pump house, feed house and a home for the caretaker." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
