"State of Wash Dist # 2 / Proj 17-D4-157 / Neg # 571 11-8-34 / West portion of farm north view / 25 SW & W Barton St Seattle" -- handwritten in lower left-hand corner on recto. "K N" -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Industrial Farms Project. / (46) View of the West Side Farm, located on Twenty-Fifth Avenue Southwest and Barton Street, before the farm, covering 120 acres was placed in production. Considerable clearing, brushing, stumping and burning was necessary in preparing this site for use. Eighty acres were farmed during the 1935 season." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
