"K N" -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Kirkland High School / (20) Man-hours of labor at the Kirkland High School totalled 24,211. The project, one of considerable proportions, involved 7,733 yards of excavation; digging 9,166 feet of ditches and the installation of 5,043 feet of drain tile. WERA labor shown while laying sod on the school grounds." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
