"Loyal Heights / Filling 'water-hole' south of school. / Estimate 2500 cubic yards. / Seattle Wash." -- handwritten on recto in center bottom. "K N" -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Loyal Heights School / (17) A waterhole south of the Loyal Heights School was filled by WERA labor, approximately 2,500 cubic yards of earth being required in the operation. Two catch basins were also constructed." --on typewritten note attached to verso.
