Dist # 2 / 17-B1-53- / July 25 1934 / Neg. No 370 / Carrying a Rail. Beacon Ave" -- handwritten in the lower left-hand corner on recto. "K.N." -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Pre-Cast Slab Laying / (105) An idea of the number of men employed on the Pre-Cast Slab Laying project can be gleaned from this picture showing WERA crews working on Beacon Avenue. Replacing work rails was included in the work performed." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
