Notes: Seattle Times newspaper clipping from November 7, 1969 about Sea-Tac Protest which took place on November 6th. Clipping states demonstration was "for more black construction jobs". Includes 2 images of the demonstration, one showing Tyree Scott, head of the Central Contractors Association. On November 6 1969, police arrested 48 protestors during a demonstration at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport protesting discrimination in construction employment. The demonstration was part of a campaign by the Central Contractors Association to win more union construction jobs for blacks and other minorities.
