"Seward Park Storm Oct. 21-34 / App. 1000 Trees Destroyed / 1500 Cords Salvaged" -- handwritten in lower right-hand corner on recto. "K.N." -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Storm Clean-Up / (128) Seward Park was badly damaged by the wind storm which visited the Puget Sound district in the fall of 1934. This picture shows the blown down timber and WERA crews salvaging cord wood from the fallen trees." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
