"North Bend Airport / (3) In foul weather when Sound cities are enshrouded in fog, mail and transport planes can, if they so choose, halt at the North Bend or Preston and await good flying conditions. The North Bend Airport, herewith shown, is 400 feet wide and 3,000 feet long. Aside from the clearing, stump removing and burning, 68,000 yards of dirt was moved on this field.
