Notes: Seattle Times newspaper clipping from November 7, 1969 about Sea-Tac Protest which took place on November 6th. Caption below image states: "Arrested demonstrators raised their right hands in the clenched fist salute as they were led into the King County Courthouse yesterday. Times staff photo bo Larry Dion". On November 6 1969, police arrested 48 protestors during a demonstration at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport protesting discrimination in construction employment. The demonstration was part of a campaign by the Central Contractors Association to win more union construction jobs for blacks and other minorities.
