A. Dist. #2 / 17-B1-17 Neg. # 486 Sep. 5 1934 / Firland Sanatorium / Just Starting the Concrete Mixer" -- handwritten in lower left-hand corner on recto. "K.N." -- handwritten on recto in lower right-hand corner. "Firland Sanatorium / (21) Paving operations at the Firland Sanatorium, originally started by CWA crews on January 6, 1934, was completed by WERA Relief Clients on November 7th of the same year. During the operation, 1,270 feet of 18 foot concrete paving was liad [sic]. Herewith is shown the concrete mixer and crew ready for work." -- on typewritten note attached to verso.
